Manhattan glass dinnerware is known for it’s clarity and specific horizontal ribbed pattern. It was mostly produced in crystal clear but fewer pieces were produced in pink, green and ruby. The classic American glass company, Anchor Hocking Glass is it’s manufacturer. It was only produced from 1938 to 1941 and is very popular with collectors. The set has a wonderful art deco design and includes many special serving pieces.
We’re a Pink Manhattan Glass Cream and Sugar Set.
We have the signature Manhattan Glass concentric rings and are a beautiful color of pink glass. Our line of depression glass, Manhattan was only produced for 3 years by famous American Glass Co, Anchor-Hocking Glass. We are a generous size for offering cream and sugar to guests. Our sugar bowl was sold as an “open” sugar and never had a lid. We aren’t vintage pottery, crystal and we are art deco. We appeal to all three collectors in those categories. We certainly are very proud of our blushing pink color!
